Heading into college feels like heading into a warzone, blindfolded! First days are something that a lot of people dread to the core. New gates, new hallways, new classes and above all new faces. Starting up a conversation can be a task at some times, the age old hit and try method of knowing whether the other person is compatible or not comes into action. One of the easiest ways to build up a social circle is to enrol in the various co-curricular societies that colleges offer. One thing assured by this is that the people you meet in societies definitely share your interest in that activity. Apart from giving you a social platform, societies ensure that you have had a fair share of activities to reflect in your bio-data once you graduate. Some of the most beneficial societies are the debating society and the dramatics society. These ensure that a person understands the importance of proper expression, and along with being a great fun activity, the help in personality development to. Also, free food! A plus factor of being in the societies is that you can experience college fest all over India with a first row seat. Societies not only give you a way to ease out of the stress that builds up in hectic days, but also ensures that you have a fun ride all through the duration of your college. And who knows, you might end up getting yourself some friends that last for life!
