College Life - A Myth
Okay,
so dont be a little disheartened but yes this is correct, COLLEGE LIFE- A MYTH.
Most of the students step out of school with so many hopes to do something or
the other that they always wanted to but couldn't because of parents,
circumstances, teachers. So, 99% of students think that college will be the
most happening place in this world, but wait a minute guys, before all your
expectations crash down, just give it a thought again. You think being an adult
is easy, noo, it burdens you down with so many responsibilities that you can't
even think of. Each and every fresher steps into college with alot of
aspirations, I was also one of them. Like other freshers, even i stepped in
thinking college life will the best phrase of my life, no doubt it was good,
but not the best. We also set expectations high only to realize that they
always hurt. Most of the students criticize their school,their life, their
routine. They don't realise what they have till the time it is gone.
College is a place where students feels like a
free bird and yes it does make you like one, but remember even the birds need
to sit back and relax. You are a free bird it is always good to explore up all
the opportunities. It will give you exposure, confidence, self independence and
yes stress too. We do enter with so much
of excitement but it only last for a month. That is when students want to fit
in, they try to be a part of the group, a group that has nothing to do with
your choices. Some way or the other, it creates pressure in the mind of
students. When it comes to pressures, yes, just when you get a little settled
up in college, you have your semester exams. Another problem creator. Studies
in school and college are way too different, it's like north and south poles
apart. You need to study on your own, yes teachers help you out but not the way
they did in school. All these things continue, and makes you want to go back to
school again. No matter how much you criticize your school life, it will always
be the easiest and the best :)
