1. A society for each & every interest you have - Delhi University provides an eminent platform for the students to join different societies namely, dramatics, debating, literary ,civil sergeant NCC(National cadet corps) to social work community of NSS(National social service). 

2. Madness at its peak at fest season – Delhi University features one of the most exciting best fests. The students awaits for this two months of celebrations of talents and entertainment. Every single day counts for a fest in some or the other college.

3. Nearest hangout places- The college campuses are hemmed in with exciting hangout places. Be it QD’S, Tom uncle’s Maggie point, big yellow door or the next tea stall. Every college has its own serenity in its place

4. Being broke, has a solution- The college canteens, juice corners, Nescafe all marks as a place of your monetary accounts. Either if it’s the beginning or the end of the month you have got an ideal place to full your appetite at lower rates and high taste.

5. One month of delicacy-Elections – The newbies of the college if notices that suddenly the air in the college has changed with extra concern and care from the seniors realize it as the election month. The perfect month when you will be treated with free food, and your every word will turn out into immediate work.

6. You are your own master- The University provides you with an ideal blend of perfect course, college and even the freedom to choose a girl’s college or a co-ed one. The flawless place where you can explore your life to an extreme end but of course knowing your limits!

7. No bars against what to wear- Unlike the boring school life you don’t have to wear the same uniform every day. You get a spark in your life. College life means all that trendy clothes and accessories to wear. No matter if a girl’s college or co-ed colors and freshness would come from every field.

8. Bunks, internals and attendance- Three words which goes together if are bunking means shortage in your attendance this would in turn affect your internal markings. Here’s the solution just before you enter the room to receive your marks make a puppy face and you got it there!!

In today’s time Delhi University is a prosperous and flourishing platform for young leaders and has laid great emphasis on building leadership qualities in young minds. 

The university provides fair election for the union members and has given due importance to the campaign and one vote system followed by the country. I have been an active debater and orator from my school days and belief in standing for the issues of public and student concern. My institution has given me a content platform for showcasing my abilities in the arena. 

Although my college has varied process for selection of union members unlike the voting system it makes me proud to contribute in the progress of the college and university as a whole. The university gives you the opportunity to pitch your ideas about development and student interest.

In addition to this, the debating society of the college has provided me with the boost to continue accelerating my speaking skills with sheer confidence. The performance of the society has been appreciated in various competitions at intra college level. These competitions in collaboration with college societies help one to enhance their capabilities and skills regarding their passions. I have been constantly supported by the college and it has always motivated me to improve and polish my skilfulness.

Delhi University is an eminent podium to flourish and continue working in the direction of your talents and progress with each passing day. Therefore, the students should have a desire to actively participate in the extra curriculum activities in the college premises. Thus, devote some time to understand your inner talents, so that, by the time you reach to the college gate to explore your life according to your wish and priorities you come to know where your interest lies!
