This is not the end of world - #Options to #consider with #average score in #12th by Aastha Dua

This is not the end of world - #Options to #consider with #average score in #12th

97% , 98.3% , 99% ! Nobody is talking about less than these figures. How we all wish to go back to kindergarten! Thousands of people are wishing to be a part of one-way mission to mars because its quite upseting on our home planet, right?
But that's no reason to be pessimistic. Getting good marks is a great thing, but it is not the only thing in student's life, even if you have not scored well in your boards, you've got a number of options to look forward to.
1) Selfie sessions are our favorite! How about turning it into a career? If you got love for photography, you can enroll for a formal education in photography,or even cinematography. The courses for the same are provided through distance learning or you can apply to institutes like FTTII, Pune ,a well recognised institute for cinematography.
2) If you have a pleasing personality and good communication skills, you can join flight crew. There are various one year diploma programmes in Aviation and Hospitality Management. Also, if you've got a good fashion taste and know what the latest trend in fashion industry is,you can join a course in Fashion Designing too.
3) Apart from these if you got a 'Filmy keeda' in you, you can join a course in performing arts-acting, music, dance..the list is endless.
4) So you think you can sell an extra pair of wings to a bird? BINGO! you can join a diploma course in sales and marketing. Its not always a BMS drgree or MBA degree to fetch you a fragranced career path. A diploma course can do or you can opt for a correspondance degree too. So how about selling eggs to a hen next?
5) India is becoming a hub for MNCs'. You can simply join a language course of your choice and get recruited in an embassy as an interpreter or a PR officer.
Some of the institutes to offer such courses are-
-School of Language,JNU
-CIEFL, Hyderabad
-University of Delhi
-Ram Krishana Mission,Kolkata
-Rajhasthan University,Jaipur.
6) You may be bad at organising your class notes but if you are good at organising 'staff n stuff', Join an Event Management course. the course is available as a diploma programme,as well as a graduate programme.
If above options sulk you even more because you want to persue an academic course then go for SOL under Delhi University or IGNOU programmes.
So this is where you can finally let go of that looser personality you've been trapped in since the day your results have been declared! Discover yourself! You're at a pivotal moment of your life. Don't let anyone discourage you from doing what you want to do. You're the one who has to live with yourself, not them!

Prioritize your interest by Baani Chugh

Prioritize your interest

"The mark of a great man is one who knows when to set aside important things in order to accomplish VITAL ONES"

The second we submit our answer sheets to the invigilator , breathing the air of freedom and relief of completing the voyage of boards , our minds slid into dilemma .We are happy , free , confused and lonely at the same time ( Thanks Taylor Swift for quoting our life )

So , happy and free are the emotions everybody is familiar with. But confused and lonely as we find ourselves standing right in front of a big red question mark , staring at our face screaming WHAT NOW ?

To be precise which road to be taken .

One is the road of our Dreams. Which we WANT to take .
Whereas another is the road which SHOULD be taken .
Priority should be given to our interests or the interest of the society ?
28/05/2015 class 12th board result .

Or should I say the day reflecting our admission in DELHI UNIVERSITY .
Almost every child is taught "12th mie mehnat kario DU jana haii"

Is that brand name so crucial ?

Should we prioritize our interests or go with society norms ?
Scoring 85% to 90% doesn't always means DU.

Not choosing the subject of your choice doing a forceful job and leading a miserable life is no where justified .

Fetching good marks does not mean killing your dreams .
" Dad I aspire to do fashion designing "

But beta you scored 95

You must opt for some established university and go for a good course. ( And lead a sad life )
With different ideas and interests we have a different set of colleges and institutions offering the courses of your interest.

If your interest lies in Designing you have a list of well established institutions underneath :
-Pearl Academy
-NIFT
-FDDI
-Amity designing school

Whereas if your interest lies in business related courses you may opt for
-IP university offering BBA BCA and Bcom hon as well .
-Symbiosis
-Christ university
-Indian Institute Of Management

Another field of interest is Media , journalism , film making and acting . Though journalism is offered by DU as well, list of others colleges are :

Follow your heart and never forget to prioritize your interest areas .

We even have a video corresponding the same .

Course vs College by Sumona

Course v/s college?

Which one to be given more preference while taking admission?

It's time of the year when students looking for the admission in bachelor's programme and the only university, which comes in their mind is the central university i.e Delhi university. With every passing  subsequent years thousands of students across the country take admission  in Delhi university.

Good grades are a stepping stones towards getting into a good college, getting a good job and eventually living a good life. Shun those C’s, avoid those B’s and strive every single day, to get those A's..

So in this already stressful situation which students facing  is that what to do after 10+2,where to took admission,in which course?

Only 2 questions which mainly grappling in students mind is that
1. Which course to choose
2. Which college to go for

The general belief is to give extra value to either of the decisions. There will be 2 opinion you get  while taking advice from someone one.

Firstly, there will be people who will tell you that the course is more important and you should never compromise on this aspect of the decision.

Guess what guys? They are right. The course is more important as compared to college in which you are taking admission because what you actually study in the next 3 following years should be something of your interest.

However, second opinion people having another mindset and are people who will preach that the college you go matters the most. This is so because at the end of year course, the market value of your degree will be  decided by the college you attend. so in the practical world a person passing from Shri Ram College of Commerce or say Lady Shri Ram for womens will have a greater value as a person in the job market than someone passing out from Deen Dayal Upadhya ,Maharaja Agrasen,Rajdhani college etc.

Guess what? This set of people is right too!    What both these set of people are saying makes complete sense and they just have 2 different approaches. therefore while taking decision all you need to do is combine these 2 different approaches.

You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.
You're on your own.
And you know what you know.
You are the guy who'll decide where to go.
~Dr. Seuss

The main thing is that don't think you have to choose one out of the 2 opinion but what you really need to do is to find a best combination  of both.

Try to maintain balance between the two choices by selecting your choice of course in which you are having lot of interest and by selecting a good college for that it must not necessary that you have to took admission in top5 colleges only..there are various other colleges  give them  one chance. I am sure you are not disappointed while studying at unpopular or less market value colleges but on the positive side you can learn many more things which may be you never have  an opportunity to learn at reputed colleges...it will be your best experience try once!!

All The Best Guys!

Why Not #Amity #University by Puja Yadav

Why Not Amity University

Most of the students want to take admission in University of Delhi or IP University or else  they  will just drop their year, students think private universities do not provide exposure and better placements but the question arises here is: why they think so…?????

Amity University, a recognised and one of the best private Universities which provide a great exposure to their students with air conditioned amphitheatre style classrooms that provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused discussions, while the libraries are equipped with thousands of books, periodicals, national and international journals,CD-ROMS, covering all aspects of academic studies and research material. Reputed faculty members share their rich experience with students to make them brighter students.Amity is no where less than any other reputed institution. It also provide scholarships to students who score good marks.Every  student have to go through a personal interview,GD &written test and after that only she/he get admission.

Leading companies from various disciplines come for campus placements at Amity. Biggest strength of Amity is an unique Corporate Resource Centre to facilitate excellent placements. In technical courses, every deserving student get placed even one year before the completion of course.

Just because of higher fee structure than DU or IP one cannot ignore what Amity University is providing and if it is about brand name ,so AMITY has also become a brand name in the  last few years.People usually have a misconception that only brats take admission in Amity and students starts drinking and smoking but it depends on indvidual to individual what they want to do and what do not.One should know their limit.Amity offers everything that one needs Education,Infrastructure,Exposure and Placements.
