If aiming at admissions in Delhi University than the actual outlook should be beyond cut off but on certain other major choices for building decent career after graduation. Basically, the selection process is one criterion but don’t solely be depended on it and think twice about all your available options and interests. University offers wide variety of courses and is leading a team of 70+ colleges so don’t be worried about the percentage but about other alternatives which one not might tell you personally.

Course over college: 
One inside information for students is on the graduation degree of the university the college name is not mentioned. Although, you are right in opting for a college having great name but compromising with your course will fetch you no bonus points in return. If you are firm about certain significant areas for developing your career than don’t subtle with other courses even if offered by the most reputed colleges.

Brand name: 
Running and hyping about the best DU colleges is not smart enough. I don’t disagree with the fact that these colleges have been prominently making mark over the years and even your parents fancy about them. But if you are taking admission in Hansraj College for B.A Programme which is famous for science streams than you are making a big mistake.

Post campus life: 
Every student has fantasies of a happening and joyous college life but if your course demands off campus colleges as a better preference than don’t think twice. Off-campus colleges are also equivalently surrounded youth oriented places. In addition to that, you can have best of both worlds by attending the major fests and events in campus colleges at the peak celebration time.

Preference to faculty than peer members: One should not judge his/her options according to the crowd or the infrastructure but lay emphasis on the faculty and facilities in the college. Even if the crowd is not happening or intellectual the facilities in the college with help you sharpen your skills. The faculty member will guide you to polish you interest fields and monitor you for better opportunities in life.

Wait for the climax to get a turn: According to the selection process if you do not qualify for the willing course in the first cut off than don’t lose hope. Wait for the last cut off but don’t negotiate with the course and college for avoiding future regrets.
